Lisa Jarnot is the author of Some Other Kind of Mission
(Burning Deck, 1996) and she is currently writing
a biography of the American poet Robert Duncan.
She currently (October 1998) teaches at the Naropa
Institute's Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics.
Lisa Jarnot was editor of the St Marks' in the Bowery Poetry
Project newsletter in New York City in the late-mid '90's. Her
other books include Phonetic Introductions, The Fall
of Orpheus, and the chapbook Sea Lyrics, published by
Situations Press in New York. She is a major figure in the band Vole.
