The
Poetry Project -- Celebrating its 30th Anniversary in 1996-97, The Poetry
Project is arguably the major non-academic forum for the presentation of
new poetry in the United States. A truly open space, however, reflecting
the energy and vision of founder Paul Blackburn, has proven difficult to
maintain.
The
Electronic Poetry Center (EPC) at SUNY Buffalo - a remarkable site, limited,
perhaps, by its aesthetic orientation, but beautifully demonstrating, nonetheless,
the extraordinary possibilities offered by "website" architecture.
